A Bystronic service contract is an engineering program, not a reactive break-fix hotline. The following scope defines what ships with our standard multi-year service agreement.
Two-stage commissioning — alignment verification, then process sign-off — performed by a certified Bystronic engineer on your floor, ending in an ISO 9013 sample cut signed by the engineer.
Twice-yearly PM visits: optics inspection, chiller flush, axis calibration, laser power verification at five set-points, ByCockpit telemetry audit. Each PM ends in an as-left report.
24/7 remote monitoring of laser source temperature, mirror currents, axis servo metrics and chiller pressure. Most service tickets close without an on-site visit.
Operator, maintenance technician and ByVision programmer tracks at regional training centers or on-site. Certifications are portable across plants.
Regional parts hubs in Niederönz (CH), Gotha (DE), Hoffman Estates (IL) and Shenzhen (CN). Critical-path consumables ship same-day, bulk optics within 48 hours.
Access to Bystronic applications engineers for nesting optimization, new-material qualification, bend-allowance engineering and automation capacity studies.
Bystronic laser consumables are stocked at the regional hubs. Request part-number cross-reference when you open an inquiry — machine serial, laser source and beam-delivery generation will all affect the right part.
Single-layer and double-layer nozzles for cutting head focus rings — diameters 1.0–5.0 mm, material copper / chrome-copper. Verified compatibility with ByStar Fiber 3015 and ByCut Smart models.
Gantry-axis protective bellows — OEM-grade sealing material, pleated polymer construction. Replacement kit includes cross-beam and Y-axis bellows plus mounting hardware.
Focus lens, protective glass (single-use) and beam-combiner optics — supplied with factory inspection certificates and pre-packaged antistatic wraps.
High-pressure N2 regulators, gas mixers, manifolds and hoses rated for Bystronic control cabinet integration. Leak-tested to cabinet schematic before dispatch.
Pumps, deionizer cartridges, coolant hoses and thermistors for the closed-loop cooling system. Flow and conductivity spec sheets accompany each SKU.
HMI touchscreens, servo drives, fiber interconnects and ByCockpit communication modules — pre-flashed to the machine software baseline where possible.
Response times below are Bystronic's standard targets in regional master service agreements. Contractual SLAs for each customer are defined in the individual service contract.
